The Adjustable Cargo Bar Assembly
By Edward Baloga

In 1966, Mr. Baloga went to work for a major distributor of magazines and newspapers for the Cleveland Ohio area. It was while working there for Klien News Distributors, that he recognized the need for his first invention. Mr. Balogas' company duties included overseeing the mass quantities of magazines and newspapers that were being delivered to all of the supermarkets in Cleveland and surrounding territory. In1996, Mr. Baloga devised the Adjustable Cargo Bar Assembly to secure the loads that were being transported. Before long, his knowledge and experience began to develop to even greater levels. After he had made 3 different units, he finally came up with the idea of welding a special section of a machine to fit and assembled the new creation. All of the units that he made at that time were eventually fabricated.

Today, the Adjustable Cargo Bar Assembly can be made and stored in the main extruded aluminum housing where the unit is fabricated. The units can also now be located at the same time; thereby saving the time it originally took to reduce the extra operation, cast of disassembly, and the relocation same parts. The Adjustable Cargo Bar Assembly is a satisfactory unit and does hold the cargo in place causing a great reduction in costs due to loss merchandise for the user. It also has a safety factor to keep the cargo in place from shifting, as was the common problem before its' creation. Three types of sizes can be used ranging from 81" - 102" inches expanded. The horizontal series consists of a side-by-side, wall-mounted track. Once the completed assembly is attached and secured in place, it is ready for use. The use of this unit will greatly reduce insurance rates by improving safety conditions.
